Marcos Quinones is a retired NYPD Detective and renowned specialist in the Occult and Occult Crimes. He helps law enforcement agencies worldwide sort through clues to determine what type of occult practitioners were at work — and what they might have been seeking. Marcos discussed his work and shared stories about occult phenomena in our community.

Anthony Marciano of Seelos Therapeutics (NASDAQ: SEEL) gave an overview of how the FDA approval process works for prescription drugs. He discussed his company and their plans to develop treatments in indications such as Depression, Parkinson’s Disease and rare “Orphan Diseases.” We had an in-depth discussion of the Global Suicide Epidemic, Seelos’ program (SLS-002) using Intranasal Ketamine, and plans to run clinical trials to study its effect in “Suicidality” initially in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder “PTSD.”

Kevin Kelly is a cyber security expert. He was a detective for the NYPD, leading cyber crime investigations and managing the computer forensics laboratory. He taught cyber security courses at Fordham University, and currently conducts cyber investigations in the corporate sector. Kevin discussed his work and provided some practical tips for securing our digital lives.

Our annual Casino Night was organized by Peter Palma, Tom Watson, and Peter McCartt. Games included blackjack, craps, roulette, and poker. The proceeds benefited the Eastchester Police Benevolent Association.
