Our annual BBQ Night was a great success. We tried something different which was to ask guys to bring something to throw on the grille. There was a large variety and quantity of food which was enjoyed by all. Special thanks goes out to those who helped with the organization, cooking, and cleanup.

Back by popular demand, Bob shared his insight into the recent Boeing 737 Max crashes and the emerging scandal around the safety of this aircraft.

Anthony Marciano of Seelos Therapeutics (NASDAQ: SEEL) gave an overview of how the FDA approval process works for prescription drugs. He discussed his company and their plans to develop treatments in indications such as Depression, Parkinson’s Disease and rare “Orphan Diseases.” We had an in-depth discussion of the Global Suicide Epidemic, Seelos’ program (SLS-002) using Intranasal Ketamine, and plans to run clinical trials to study its effect in “Suicidality” initially in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder “PTSD.”

He taught cyber security courses at Fordham University, and currently conducts cyber investigations in the corporate sector. Kevin discussed his work and provided some practical tips for securing our digital lives.
